Teri Pentz is a Pennsylvania licensed professional counselor (LPC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and was among the first in Pennsylvania to earn the Infant Mental Health Endorsement (IMH-E® Mental Health Mentor-Clinical). Teri holds a master’s in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in Pittsburgh and has worked with children and families for nearly 30 years through Early Intervention and Mental Health programs, as a clinician, supervisor, teacher and trainer/mentor. She has also served as the coordinator of Children’s programs in mental health and Intellectual Disabilities for several county MH/MR programs in Pennsylvania. Currently, Teri is the supervisor of the IMPACT Mobile Therapy program through Matilda Theiss Early Childhood Behavioral Health Center, and is a Rostered Clinician and Apprentice Trainer for Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) at the Theiss Early Trauma Treatment Center. In addition to her work as a clinician and presenter on trauma and behavioral health, Teri frequently presents on topics related to issues of adoption and adoptive families.
